Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer – M365, Azure & DevOps Automation (m/w/d)

Role

In this role, you will dive deep into the world of automation, using your Bash and PowerShell expertise to digitize complex tasks efficiently and reliably. You will be responsible for the conception, implementation, and optimization of automation solutions around Microsoft 365 and modern cloud services. You will develop sustainable IT infrastructure solutions that keep operations stable and consistently automate recurring tasks. You will analyze existing processes, identify automation potential, and systematically implement it into robust scripts and pipelines. As a Senior System Engineer, you will pass on your know-how, define best practices, and contribute significantly to the further development of the entire system landscape.

Qualifications

• You have very good knowledge in the Microsoft 365 and Azure environment (Intune, Azure AD, SharePoint, Exchange Online).
• You have experience with PowerShell and automation tools such as Ansible.
• You have basic knowledge of network and firewall technologies.
• You have experience in Linux server administration.
• You are enthusiastic about automation, structured processes, and modern cloud architectures (Infrastructure-as-Code).

Responsibilities

• You will continuously develop our private cloud as well as Microsoft 365 and Azure services.
• You will evaluate and implement new systems and hand them over cleanly to operations.
• You will work on projects related to Intune, SharePoint, Exchange Online, Azure AD, and Endpoint Management.
• You will automate recurring processes with PowerShell, Bash, and Ansible and actively drive Infrastructure-as-Code.
• You will support migrations to the Azure Cloud and take over 3rd-level support for central platform services in close cooperation with Cybersecurity and Network Engineering.
