Responsibilities

• Design and implementation of cloud-native architectures based on Kubernetes in public cloud environments
• Build and further development of CI/CD and Git Ops-based workflows adapted to customer and platform requirements, with a focus on automation, repeatability, and security
• Participation in architectural decisions regarding Kubernetes platforms, including topics such as networking, security, observability, scaling, and cost awareness
• Responsibility for the stable operation of scalable and highly available cloud-native workloads, including troubleshooting, upgrades, incident handling, and participation in regulated on-call duties
• Close collaboration with our customers in the design, operation, and further development of their cloud-native solutions, technically sound, pragmatic, and with a view to real requirements and risks
• Working in an international team with a high degree of personal responsibility and scope for action, as well as the opportunity to actively shape topics and take on responsibility

Qualifications

• Several years of practical experience in the development, operation, and further development of Kubernetes-based cloud-native environments
• Good knowledge in at least one public cloud environment such as AWS, GCP or Azure, especially in areas such as compute, networking, IAM and storage
• Technical understanding and communication skills to work solution-oriented with colleagues and customers
• Experience with tools and solutions from the CNCF Ecosystem (e.g. Argo CD, istio, Kyverno, Traefik)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and declarative approaches e.g. Terraform, Git Ops workflows
• Robust Linux knowledge
• You are independent, customer-oriented, enjoy working in a team, and have a professional demeanor
