Responsibilities

• Integration of SmartNICs in private cloud solutions and their configuration for maximum security and performance
• Responsibility for the further development of our highly secure SmartNIC solution
• Configuration and management of secure VPN connections between different isolated networks
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant security standards within the network environment
• Support in the development and implementation of secure network architectures for our private cloud solution
• Creation of precise and complete documentation of all networks, configurations, and processes of the cloud solutions

Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or comparable
• Experience with SmartNICs (e.g., Mellanox ConnectX, BlueField) and knowledge of the challenges in their integration and configuration
• Proficient configuration and troubleshooting of VPN connections at Layer 3 (e.g., IPsec, GRE) and experience with hardware-based VPN gateways
• Ideally, knowledge in the design, implementation, and management of complex network environments
• Initial experience with relevant security standards and regulations (e.g., according to NIST and BSI specifications)
• Very good German and good English skills
