About

A growing, highly stable financial services organization is seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to help build and scale a modern AWS-based cloud environment.

This is a hands‑on technical leadership role where you’ll influence platform architecture, drive automation, and improve overall system reliability in a collaborative, high‑impact environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and enhance scalable cloud infrastructure in AWS
• Drive automation across infrastructure, deployments, and platform operations
• Develop and support CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application delivery
• Improve observability, monitoring, and system performance
• Partner with internal teams and external providers to deliver platform initiatives
• Establish and evolve cloud standards, governance, and best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex platform and infrastructure issues

Requirements

• 4+ years in cloud/platform engineering roles
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS (compute, networking, IAM, architecture)
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK)
• CI/CD pipeline design and implementation experience
• Solid understanding of cloud security, governance, and access controls
• Experience working with external partners, MSPs, or system integrators
• Ability to operate both strategically and hands‑on
