Einleitung
Unser Klient, ein führendes Technologieunternehmen im Bereich der Cybersicherheit, sucht zur Verstärkung seines globalen Teams einen erfahrenen Senior Cloud Security Engineer (m/w/d) in einer vollständig remote zu besetzenden Position. Sie werden eine Schlüsselrolle bei der Gewährleistung der Sicherheit unserer Cloud-Infrastrukturen und -Anwendungen spielen und an der Entwicklung innovativer Sicherheitslösungen mitwirken. Diese Position erfordert tiefgreifendes Fachwissen in Cloud-Sicherheit, eine proaktive Denkweise und die Fähigkeit, effektiv in einem verteilten Arbeitsumfeld zu agieren.
Ihre Aufgaben
- Design, Implementierung und Betrieb von Sicherheitskontrollen und -lösungen für Cloud-Umgebungen (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Entwicklung und Durchsetzung von Sicherheitsrichtlinien und -standards für Cloud-Architekturen.
- Durchführung von Sicherheitsbewertungen, Penetrationstests und Schwachstellenanalysen in Cloud-Infrastrukturen.
- Automatisierung von Sicherheitsprozessen und -workflows, um die Effizienz zu steigern und menschliche Fehler zu minimieren.
- Implementierung und Verwaltung von Identity and Access Management (IAM)-Lösungen in der Cloud.
- Überwachung der Cloud-Sicherheit, Erkennung und Reaktion auf Sicherheitsvorfälle.
- Zusammenarbeit mit Entwicklungs- und Betriebsteams (DevOps/DevSecOps), um Sicherheit von Anfang an in den Softwareentwicklungszyklus zu integrieren.
- Beratung von Produktteams bei der Implementierung sicherer Cloud-Architekturen und -Praktiken.
- Erstellung und Pflege von Sicherheitsdokumentationen und -richtlinien.
- Evaluation und Einführung neuer Sicherheitstechnologien und -tools für die Cloud.
- Mentoring von Junior-Sicherheitsexperten und Förderung einer Sicherheitskultur im Unternehmen.
- Kontinuierliche Verbesserung der Sicherheitslage und proaktive Identifizierung potenzieller Risiken.
Ihr Profil
- Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik, Cybersicherheit oder eines verwandten technischen Fachgebiets.
- Mindestens 5 Jahre Erfahrung im Bereich IT-Sicherheit, mit einem klaren Fokus auf Cloud-Sicherheit (AWS, Azure oder GCP).
- Fundierte Kenntnisse in der Implementierung und Verwaltung von Sicherheitsdiensten in Cloud-Plattformen.
- Erfahrung mit Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Tools wie Terraform oder CloudFormation.
- Kenntnisse in Container-Sicherheit (Docker, Kubernetes) und Microservices-Architekturen.
- Erfahrung mit SIEM-Lösungen, IDS/IPS und Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR).
- Verständnis von Netzwerk-Sicherheitsprotokollen und -konzepten.
- Zertifizierungen im Bereich Cloud Security (z.B. AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate) sind von Vorteil.
- Hervorragende analytische und Problemlösungsfähigkeiten.
- Starke Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Deutsch und Englisch sowie die Fähigkeit, effektiv in einem globalen, remote arbeitenden Team zu agieren.

Requirements
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of experience in IT security, with a clear focus on cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Sound knowledge in implementing and managing security services in cloud platforms.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Knowledge in container security (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architectures.
- Experience with SIEM solutions, IDS/IPS, and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR).
- Understanding of network security protocols and concepts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills in German and English and the ability to work effectively in a global, remote-working team.

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and operate security controls and solutions for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Develop and enforce security policies and standards for cloud architectures.
- Conduct security assessments, penetration tests, and vulnerability analyses in cloud infrastructures.
- Automate security processes and workflows to increase efficiency and minimize human error.
- Implement and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions in the cloud.
- Monitor cloud security, detect, and respond to security incidents.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams (DevOps/DevSecOps) to integrate security from the start of the software development cycle.
- Advise product teams on implementing secure cloud architectures and practices.
- Create and maintain security documentation and policies.
- Evaluate and introduce new security technologies and tools for the cloud.
- Mentor junior security experts and promote a security culture within the company.
- Continuously improve the security posture and proactively identify potential risks.
