Our client is seeking an accomplished and forward‑thinking Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to join their fully remote team. This pivotal role will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable, high‑performance cloud‑based solutions that meet complex business requirements. Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and deploy robust, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure solutions on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including engineering, product, and business teams, to understand their needs and translate them into effective cloud solutions.
• Develop and document cloud architecture standards, best practices, and operational procedures.
• Lead the migration of existing on‑premises applications and infrastructure to the cloud.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams on cloud technologies and methodologies.
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud services and technologies to enhance performance, security, and cost‑efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud environments.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices and regulatory requirements in cloud deployments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using IaC tools.
• Contribute to the strategic planning and roadmap for the company's cloud adoption and evolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 4 years focused on cloud architecture and design.
• Extensive hands‑on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP), including services like EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda, AKS, GKE, etc.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
• Strong understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Knowledge of networking concepts, security best practices, and data management in cloud environments.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, essential for a remote team.
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
