Senior Cloud Solutions Architect - Azure/AWS

Our client is a dynamic and innovative technology consultancy specializing in cloud adoption and digital transformation. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to join our elite, fully remote team. The ideal candidate will have a deep expertise in designing, implementing, and managing complex cloud solutions on platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS). You will work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and architect scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud environments. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead architectural design discussions.

Responsibilities: Design and architect robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions leveraging Azure and AWS services. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather business and technical requirements for cloud deployments. Develop detailed architectural designs, including infrastructure, networking, security, and application integration strategies. Provide expert guidance on cloud migration strategies, best practices, and optimization techniques. Lead the implementation and deployment of cloud solutions, ensuring adherence to architectural standards. Evaluate and recommend appropriate cloud services and technologies to meet client needs. Develop and maintain cloud governance frameworks, security policies, and compliance measures. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications. Stay current with the latest cloud technologies, trends, and services offered by major cloud providers. Mentor junior architects and engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure and cloud computing, with a significant focus on solution architecture. Proven expertise in designing and implementing solutions on both Microsoft Azure and AWS platforms. In-depth knowledge of cloud networking, security, compute, storage, and database services. Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation). Strong understanding of microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps principles. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Exceptional communication, presentation, and client-facing skills. Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional) are highly desirable. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, remote environment.
