We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Solutions Architect (m/f/d) to strengthen our dynamic IT team in Graz, Styria, AT. In this challenging position, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of our cloud infrastructure on leading platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. You will work closely with our software development and operations teams to design scalable, highly available, and secure cloud architectures that optimally meet our customers' business requirements. Your role is crucial for the technical strategy and future-proofing of our digital services.

Responsibilities

Your main tasks include:

• Conceptualization, design, and implementation of complex cloud architectures, considering scalability, security, and cost optimization.
• Evaluation and selection of suitable cloud services and technologies to meet specific business requirements.
• Development of migration strategies for on-premise applications to the cloud.
• Automation of infrastructure management processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Ensuring compliance with security policies and compliance standards in the cloud environment.
• Mentoring and technical leadership of junior architects and cloud engineers.
• Collaboration with stakeholders to understand technical requirements and develop solution approaches.
• Performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and proactive optimization of the cloud infrastructure.
• Creation of technical documentation and best practices.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, as well as at least 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure and solution design, with at least 5 years focused on cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Proven experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architectures is essential. You should have in-depth knowledge of networks, security, and databases in cloud environments. Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect are a great advantage. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are expected.
