Senior Cloud Solutions Architect (m/w/d)

About Us

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Solutions Architect (m/f/d) to join our growing remote team. In this key role, you will design, implement, and optimize highly available and scalable cloud architectures, primarily on AWS and Azure. You will work from your home office and be responsible for the technical vision and strategy of our cloud infrastructure. This position is aimed at proactive architects who want to develop innovative solutions and drive technical excellence.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and architecture of resilient, secure and cost-effective cloud solutions
• Migration of on-premise systems to the cloud
• Definition of best practices for cloud infrastructure and operations
• Evaluation and selection of cloud technologies and services
• Consulting development teams on the implementation of cloud-native applications
• Development of automation strategies for deployment and management (CI/CD)
• Performance monitoring, analysis and optimization of the cloud environment
• Ensuring compliance and governance in the cloud
• Mentoring junior team members and knowledge sharing

Your Profile

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable qualification
• Proven professional experience as a Cloud Architect, ideally with a focus on AWS and/or Azure
• In-depth knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
• Experience with microservices architectures and serverless technologies
• Strong knowledge of network and security concepts in the cloud
• Distinct analytical skills and problem-solving competence
• Excellent communication skills in German and English, also for virtual collaboration
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts understandably
• Certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are an advantage
