Senior Cloud Solutions Architect & Program Manager

Our client is seeking a highly accomplished Senior Cloud Solutions Architect and Program Manager to spearhead the design, implementation, and oversight of complex cloud-based initiatives. This pivotal role requires a unique blend of deep technical expertise in cloud architecture and robust program management capabilities. You will be responsible for translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions, primarily leveraging major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. This includes architecting infrastructure, defining deployment strategies, and ensuring adherence to best practices in cloud security and governance. Simultaneously, you will manage end-to-end program execution, encompassing planning, resource allocation, risk management, stakeholder communication, and budget oversight. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in leading cross-functional technical teams, driving projects to successful completion, and delivering tangible business value through cloud adoption. This role demands exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving acumen, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Responsibilities: Architect and design robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of cloud migration and transformation programs. Define cloud strategy, roadmaps, and best practices for adoption and governance. Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and risks throughout the program lifecycle. Collaborate with engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to define requirements and technical solutions. Oversee the implementation and deployment of cloud infrastructure and services. Ensure adherence to cloud security standards, compliance requirements, and data privacy regulations. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering and architecture teams. Conduct architectural reviews and provide guidance on technology selection. Facilitate effective communication and reporting to senior management and key stakeholders. Drive innovation and continuous improvement in cloud architecture and program management methodologies. Contribute to the development of reusable architectural patterns and automation frameworks. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Extensive experience (8+ years) in cloud architecture, design, and implementation (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Proven experience (5+ years) in program management or technical project leadership for large-scale initiatives. Strong understanding of cloud-native technologies, microservices, containers, and DevOps practices. Expertise in cloud security principles, governance, and compliance frameworks. Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage complex technical projects and navigate organizational dynamics. Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable. Experience with hybrid cloud environments and multi-cloud strategies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. This position is located in Enugu, Enugu, NG and operates under a hybrid work model.
