Senior Cloud Solutions Architect (Remote)

Key Responsibilities: Design and architect scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions on AWS, Azure, and/or GCP. Lead the development and implementation of cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, and security services. Collaborate with engineering teams to define cloud strategy, best practices, and adoption roadmaps. Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud technologies, patterns, and best practices. Evaluate and recommend new cloud services and technologies to enhance capabilities and optimize costs. Develop automation strategies for cloud deployments, management, and monitoring using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues. Ensure compliance with security policies, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements. Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge across the organization. Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation. Communicate technical vision and architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure and cloud computing, with at least 4 years focused on solution architecture. Proven experience designing and implementing complex solutions on one or more major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Deep understanding of cloud networking, security, and identity management principles. Expertise in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools. Strong knowledge of various operating systems (Linux, Windows). Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and lead technical discussions in a remote environment. Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
