We’re looking for a senior MSP engineer to act as the final escalation point within a busy 24x7 service desk. This is a hands-on 3rd line role focused on complex problem resolution, Microsoft cloud platforms, and driving service quality across multiple customer environments.
If you enjoy high-impact troubleshooting, mentoring other engineers, and improving how support is delivered, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
- Act as the final escalation for complex incidents and requests
- Support and optimise Microsoft cloud and end-user platforms
- Own incidents end-to-end, including customer communication
- Review and approve technical changes, contributing to CAB
- Lead root cause analysis and support problem management
- Drive automation, documentation, and knowledge sharing
- Mentor engineers and raise technical standards
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years supporting customers in an MSP environment
- Strong experience across:
- Microsoft 365, Entra ID / AD
- Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive
- Intune, Group Policy
- Azure Virtual Desktop / RDS
- End-user devices, on‑prem networking, VMware
- PowerShell and ITSM tool experience
- Relevant Microsoft certification (MD‑102, MS‑700, SC‑300 or similar)
