About
Act as a general-purpose reverse engineer for network-based devices, collaborating closely with analysts, operators, data scientists, and software engineers to provide mission-centric solutions. This role involves designing and prototyping tools that meet specific mission requirements.
Responsibilities
- Augment existing toolsets and build prototypes to demonstrate understanding of mission requirements.
- Derive, document, and analyze requirements for software systems.
- Produce deployable toolsets capable of operating within mission constraints and test them for release.
Required Skills
- Familiarity with Unix-based systems.
- Experience with reverse engineering Linux-based network devices.
- In-depth understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP) and analysis of network traffic (e.g., Wireshark).
- Ability to produce and modify software systems in C/C++/Python/Assembly.
- Familiarity with Git and Subversion.
- Experience with Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Knowledge of production offensive security operations capabilities and operations.
Nice to Have
- Experience with reverse engineering Windows or embedded platforms (RTOS).
- Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell, Perl, C#, Rust.
- Experience developing offensive security operations specific software in Linux/Windows/Embedded applications.
- Knowledge of end-to-end signals intelligence collection and analysis systems.
Experience Required
12 years with Bachelor's degree in technical field, or 10 years without degree
