About the Department

Market and Static Data Management: The Department consists of 3 sub-teams. One takes care of the master data supply (Gattung). The second takes care of market data supply and presentation for our internal and external customers. The third is about the presentation, distribution and content for the research area. We are looking for a person that takes ownership, has good communication skills, is customer oriented and has a strong technical background.

What to do:

• Software development in SQL and/or Cobol, DB2 on the IBM mainframe.
• Be responsible for analysis, design, development and maintenance of software components for the securities back office.
• Write functional and technical specifications as well as software documentation.
• Collaborate closely with customers’ business and specialist departments, advising them on system capabilities and implementation options.
• Work on IT projects with regards to securities master data, corporate actions, taxes in the securities business, etc.
• Very good command of English, German is a plus.

You check these boxes:

• A proven track-record of 5+ years working in IT or banking industry.
• Knowledge of banking and the domain securities business and products (e.g. securities, bonds).
• Development experience on Mainframe in COBOL/DB2 environment.
• Application lifecycle knowledge such as planning, requirements analysis, implementation, operation.
• Monitoring of daily operations and willingness to perform on call duty, including at night.
• Ability to work well with people and quickly establish good working relationships with clients.
• Team player who likes to work in agile teams taking full responsibility for defined tasks.
