What do you contribute?

You will be part of our commercial project team for the execution of international railway infrastructure projects. A special focus is on our projects in Algeria, which we carry out in close cooperation with our local joint venture.

Responsibilities

• As Senior Commercial Project Manager, you will take over the commercial project execution and program management for our project portfolio in Algeria.
• You will ensure the high-quality, on-time, and budget-compliant execution of your projects. Your focus will be particularly on planning and controlling costs and key figures.
• You will also carry out proactive opportunity and risk management; contract and claims management will be an essential part of your tasks.
• With your effective partner and stakeholder management (e.g., customers and plants), you will significantly contribute to achieving the respective project goals.
• You will be in regular contact with the local management, coach the local project managers, and actively work on improving local processes.
• In NCM projects, you will take on the role of World Project Controller.
• You will regularly report to segment management, BU management, and the Management Board.
• Additionally, the role offers you the opportunity to also take on parts of the technical project management.

What do you bring?

• You have a degree in business administration.
• You also impress with many years of experience in commercial project management in the plant engineering business.
• You score with very good knowledge of export, customs, and tax law issues, as well as finance and permanent establishments.
• You are also familiar with accounting according to IFRS and HGB and have already gained experience in contract management.
• Certification as a (Commercial) Project Manager is a prerequisite.
• You speak fluent English and French, and ideally German as well.
• You are willing to travel on business (approx. 10–15%).
