Senior Commercial Real Estate Investment Analyst

Our client, a prominent real estate investment firm with a diverse portfolio, is seeking a highly analytical and driven Senior Commercial Real Estate Investment Analyst to join their growing team in **Zaria, Kaduna, NG**. You will play a critical role in evaluating potential investment opportunities, conducting in-depth market research, and providing data-driven insights to support investment decisions. Primary responsibilities include: Analyzing commercial real estate investment opportunities across various sectors, including office, retail, industrial, and multifamily properties. Developing complex financial models to forecast property performance, including discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, internal rate of return (IRR), and cash-on-cash returns. Conducting thorough market research and due diligence, including analyzing demographic trends, economic indicators, and competitive supply and demand dynamics. Preparing detailed investment memoranda and presentations for senior management and investment committees. Assisting in the negotiation and structuring of purchase agreements and other transaction-related documents. Monitoring existing portfolio assets, tracking performance against projections, and identifying opportunities for value enhancement. Building and maintaining relationships with brokers, appraisers, lenders, and other industry professionals. Staying abreast of current market conditions, regulatory changes, and emerging investment trends within the commercial real estate sector. Performing sensitivity analyses and scenario planning to assess investment risks and potential outcomes. Contributing to the overall investment strategy and asset management initiatives of the firm. Ensuring accuracy and integrity of all financial data and investment analyses. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field, with a strong academic record. A Master's degree or professional designation (e.g., CFA, CCIM) is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in commercial real estate analysis, investment banking, or corporate finance, with a focus on real estate. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex financial modeling and data analysis, is essential. Experience with real estate databases and analytics software (e.g., Argus, CoStar) is highly desirable. Strong understanding of real estate valuation methodologies and capital markets. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely. High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
