You will serve as a key point of connection between clients, design teams, and field staff, guiding projects from early planning through completion with clarity, professionalism, and care.

At Knickerbocker Group, we believe how we deliver our work is just as important as what we build. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in building trust, leading teams, and navigating complex projects with confidence and integrity.

What Youll Do

Lead Client Experience & Team Collaboration

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a high level of service, responsiveness, and transparency throughout the project lifecycle
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships and guide clients through decisions, challenges, and changes with professionalism and sound judgment
  • Lead project and client meetings, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with Architecture, Interiors, Landscape Architecture, and field teams to support an integrated design-build approach
  • Foster a collaborative, solutions-oriented environment across internal teams and external partners
  • Mentor and support project team members, helping to strengthen project performance and professional growth

Drive Project Leadership & Execution

  • Lead multiple complex construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
  • Establish and maintain project plans, including schedules, milestones, and resource coordination
  • Monitor project performance across schedule, budget, quality, and safety, and guide the team in addressing risks and challenges
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure project progress, quality, and overall job site conditions align with expectations
  • Maintain accountability for overall project outcomes, including client experience

Guide Planning, Financials & Project Strategy

  • Partner with clients and design teams early in the project lifecycle to define scope, schedule, budget, and project goals
  • Review drawings and specifications to identify constructability considerations and cost impacts
  • Oversee estimating, budgeting, and procurement planning to align design intent with execution
  • Manage project budgets, contracts, and financial performance throughout the lifecycle
  • Oversee subcontractor and vendor engagement, including bid review, negotiation, and contract execution
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of construction project management experience, including significant experience with high-end residential projects
  • Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • High level of emotional intelligence, with the ability to navigate client relationships and team dynamics effectively
  • Solid financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and contract management
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Microsoft Project, Procore, Acumatica, and/or Revit is a plus
