Senior Construction Project Manager - Remote Leadership

Our client, a renowned leader in the construction industry, is seeking an exceptionally qualified Senior Construction Project Manager to oversee complex projects from conception to completion. This is a fully remote position, requiring a seasoned professional with a proven track record of delivering large-scale construction projects successfully, managing teams, and navigating all phases of development, planning, and execution. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive project plans, including scope, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation. This involves coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead and motivate project teams, foster a collaborative environment, and ensure clear communication channels are maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Risk management is a critical component; you will identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement contingency plans. Ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and legal requirements is paramount. You will oversee contract negotiations, procurement processes, and vendor management. Regular reporting on project status, progress, and financial performance to senior management will be expected. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, complemented by a PMP or equivalent certification. A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in construction project management, with significant experience in managing multi-million dollar projects, is essential. Demonstrable experience in leading remote teams and utilizing project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6) is required.
