(Senior) Consultant* - Business Analyst Payments (Pricing and Billing)

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Business Analyst to join our Payments team, focusing on Pricing and Billing. As a Consultant, you will play a crucial role in understanding client needs, analyzing complex business problems, and designing innovative solutions within the payments domain.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements for pricing and billing systems.
• Analyze existing processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications for technical teams.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders at all levels.
• Develop and execute test cases to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Provide subject matter expertise on payment pricing and billing models.
• Contribute to project planning and status reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the payments industry.
• Strong understanding of pricing and billing concepts and systems.
• Experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, and data analysis.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of specific payment gateways or processors.
• Familiarity with SQL or other data querying tools.
