Your Impact

As a Senior Consultant Data Engineering (m/f/d) with a focus on Databricks, you will be involved in the development and optimization of data pipelines and data architectures for the efficient analysis and processing of large amounts of data.

• Conception: You will conceptualize data platforms with Databricks and the underlying cloud infrastructure for the implementation of scalable ETL pipelines for batch and streaming processing.
• Implementation: As part of the introduction and continuous optimization, you will contribute your expertise to the implementation of Databricks-based data platforms.
• Consulting: Develop future-oriented Data & AI Engineering solutions using the most innovative technologies, helping our clients leverage data as the basis for business success!
• Collaboration: In collaboration with cross-functional expert teams, you will understand business requirements and be able to translate them into technical solutions together.
• Shaping: You will actively contribute to the development of best practices to continuously optimize the service portfolio and ensure internal knowledge transfer by mentoring junior colleagues.

Your Skillset

• Several years of professional experience with a focus on the conception, development, or optimization of Lakehouse data platforms in the cloud based on Databricks.
• A degree in Computer Science (Business Informatics), Engineering (Business Engineering), Economics with a focus on Computer Science, or comparable fields.
• Practical experience with Databricks, particularly with core components such as Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Workflows, Databricks SQL, and Notebooks.
• Programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala, as well as expertise in SQL and data processing with Apache Spark.
• Willingness to travel, and fluent German (C1) and English, both written and spoken.
