Senior Consultant - USE Platform Engineer

About the Role

As a Senior Platform Engineer - USE Platforms at AstraZeneca, your role will be crucial in leading the design and build for releases and projects on the Universal Services Experience (USE) platform and related applications/integrations. Your core responsibilities will include providing technical support, development, and customization of the USE platform, ensuring alignment with AstraZeneca's business and service information.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and provide 3rd line technical support, IT support Leadership, and consultancy for the USE platform, its configurations, and integrations.
• Serve as a senior USE platform support consultant for IT and AZ business partners globally, demonstrating expertise in the USE Platform and "Creator Studio" configurations.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to identify key AstraZeneca knowledge sources for training AstraZeneca specific Large Language Models.
• Manage and configure USE Platform system instances, ensuring optimal performance, security, and license management.
• Identify and implement USE platform exploitation and innovation opportunities across the enterprise.
• Lead delivery activities through Design/Build/Test/Deploy phases for regular releases and key platform initiatives.
• Provide technical expertise to release and project teams, ensuring alignment with AstraZeneca's standards and processes.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, integrations, changes, and procedures.

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar field
• 3-5 years of proven hands‑on experience in IT support and software development
• Demonstrable understanding of AI and Machine Learning/Deep Learning Principles
• Experience in working with AWS and MS Azure Cloud Services
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in working within a quality and compliance environment
