We are looking for a Senior Consulting Engineer to architect and develop scalable, distributed, and resilient software components essential for our healthcare applications and end users. As a technology leader, you'll oversee the entire software development life cycle (SDLC), from architecture and development to testing, monitoring, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and take full ownership of software projects from conception to production support.
• Lead and implement significant initiatives that require intricate coordination across multiple components.
• Navigate projects amid considerable technical uncertainties and propel them toward completion.
• Deliver high-quality software improvements supported by automated tests and robust monitoring solutions.
• Understand the business objectives behind your projects to inform your technical decisions through self-directed learning.
• Mentor and influence team members through example, knowledge sharing, and participation in recruitment efforts.
• Utilize data analytics to assess project outcomes and clearly articulate the impact of your contributions.
• Create actionable execution plans based on usage telemetry and customer feedback.

AI-First Engineering Expectations

• Have hands-on experience with AI-assisted tools and techniques to enhance developer productivity and software quality.
• Maintain an AI-first perspective in daily tasks, including code generation, test creation, and observability improvements.
• Adhere to enterprise security and privacy protocols while using AI tools.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen eligible for Federal Security Clearance.
• 12+ years of experience in software development with a focus on building cloud-based commercial services (SaaS, PaaS).
• Proficient in at least one of the following programming languages: Java, C#, SQL, Python.
• Proven leadership in managing complex projects amidst technical ambiguity.
• Able to thrive in a globally distributed, agile team environment.
• Strong background in system design and architectural best practices, including security and operational considerations.
• Experience in building, deploying, and scaling multi-tenant SaaS applications.
• Familiarity with AI-based tools throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with healthcare or financial systems.
• Understanding of patient accounting workflows and processes.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $96,800 to $251,600 per year, with potential eligibility for bonuses, equity, and deferred compensation.
