Tasks

  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing Customer Relationship Management systems — with strong preference for Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Salesforce — including contact and account management modules, opportunity and pipeline tracking, case and ticket management workflows, role-based access control, and multi-tenant architecture. Familiarity with open-source alternatives such as SuiteCRM or Odoo is advantageous.
  • Proven experience embedding Artificial Intelligence capabilities into Customer Relationship Management workflows. Demonstrable knowledge of Azure OpenAI Service, Microsoft Copilot, or equivalent Large Language Model platforms. Hands-on experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation, conversational assistant development, intent classification, sentiment analysis, and lead scoring or churn prediction models is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Extract-Transform-Load pipeline design, master data management, deduplication, schema mapping from legacy systems, REST Application Programming Interface and Simple Object Access Protocol Application Programming Interface integration, and connectors to Enterprise Resource Planning, e-mail, telephony, and Document Management Systems.
  • Practical experience with Microsoft Azure or comparable cloud deployment environments, Single Sign-On via Security Assertion Markup Language or OpenID Connect, Identity and Access Management, encryption at rest and in transit, and compliance with the Datenschutz-Grundverordnung (General Data Protection Regulation) and Bundesdatenschutzgesetz (Federal Data Protection Act). Knowledge of Bundesamt für Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik Cloud Computing Compliance Criteria Catalogue (C5) or International Organization for Standardization 27001 is advantageous.
  • Competence in modern web frameworks — preferably .NET, TypeScript, React, or Angular — Application Programming Interface-first development practices, low-code and pro-code extension models such as Microsoft Power Platform or Salesforce Lightning, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines, and automated unit and end-to-end testing. Adherence to Information Technology Infrastructure Library service management practices and accessibility standards (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 AA) is expected.
  • Familiarity with Key Performance Indicator dashboards, customer segmentation, funnel reporting, Business Intelligence tooling such as Microsoft Power Business Intelligence or Tableau, and embedded analytics within Customer Relationship Management user interfaces.

Requirements

  • Two submitted reference projects: Both reference projects must have a confirmed, documentable total project budget of at minimum €100,000 gross.
  • Each reference must demonstrate that the project included substantive consulting on the development of a Customer Relationship Management system as a primary, documentable deliverable
  • Each reference must demonstrate that Artificial Intelligence technologies were actively designed and deployed within the solution.
  • Each reference must evidence that the project delivered reusable tools, methodological frameworks, or operational playbooks enabling the client to continuously evolve and improve their service processes using new Artificial Intelligence technologies.
  • A structured Curriculum Vitae in English or German — explicitly detailing all project roles, team sizes, technologies deployed, and client sectors.
  • A two-page reference summary per project (maximum two references) — structured against the seven mandatory requirements listed in this job call. Each criterion must be addressed directly and substantively. Generic project descriptions will not be accepted.
  • A brief cover letter (maximum one page) explaining why both references qualify for the maximum point score under each criterion, and describing your approach to the technical delivery of a Customer Relationship Management system with integrated Artificial Intelligence.
