Your New Role

• The focus of your activity is the provision of Managed Security Services for business customers.
• This means: initial setup, configuration and adjustments of security platforms such as firewalls, VPN gateways, DDoS protection and vulnerability management.
• You advise internal and external customers on cyber security issues in the pre- and post-sales phase, including the development of solution proposals.
• Operation of Managed Security Services 3rd Level with topics such as maintenance, fault analysis and troubleshooting is also part of the scope of duties.
• This includes cyclical participation in the 24/7 on-call duty.
• You actively participate in optimizations of configuration and operating processes via automation and programming interfaces.
• A check according to the SÜG is required for the activity.

What You Bring

• You have completed a university or technical college degree or vocational training with several years of professional experience in IT Security and/or telecommunications.
• Good to very good knowledge in IT Security in the areas of network, endpoints, cloud and applications, as well as a very high security awareness characterize you.
• Good to very good knowledge of basic network technologies (Ethernet, TCP/IP, routing, VPNs, etc.).
• Experience in automation via programming interfaces.
• Strong analytical thinking and a high willingness to learn are among your strengths.
