Responsibilities

• Analysis, hardening, and securing of IT and cloud environments
• Building & further developing modern detection & response mechanisms
• Implementing new security tools, frameworks, and automations
• Conducting threat analyses, logging, monitoring & incident prevention
• Vulnerability analyses and implementation of effective remediation
• Participation in the Zero Trust expansion
• Development of security standards, policies & guardrails
• Close collaboration with DevOps, Infrastructure & the SOC team
• Advising the technology department on security best practices
• Optional: Participation in Red/Blue team activities

Requirements

• Very good experience in IT Security Engineering
• Experience with SIEM/SOAR, EDR/XDR, IAM/PAM or Cloud Security
• Familiar with hardening, network security, logging, detection
• Ability to analyze security problems end-to-end
• You think like an attacker – but solve like an architect
• Knowledge of automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell) is an advantage
• Experience in enterprise or regulated environments is a plus
