Join a dynamic team as a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer! Our client, a leader in the industry, is offering a fantastic opportunity for a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, requiring on-site work three days per week (Tuesday - Thursday) in Cary, NC, and is a perfect chance to enhance your skills in cloud security posture management.

Qualified candidates must be willing to work on a W2 basis.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage enterprise-grade firewall solutions including next-gen firewalls to enforce network security policies.
• Deploy security tools in cloud environments such as CASB, WAFs, and native cloud security services.
• Integrate SASE solutions to enhance security capabilities for distributed networks.
• Implement centralized identity and access management systems based on least privilege principles.
• Utilize Microsoft Security Suite tools for threat detection and response across environments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in network security engineering, with extensive knowledge in Palo Alto.
• Hands-on experience with Zscaler.
• Cloud-first mindset; on-premises only experience will disqualify candidates.
• Strong passion for security, with a willingness to suggest and recommend best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective interaction with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure Network and cloud security posture management.
