senior Cybersecurity Engineer

About

We are looking for a senior Cybersecurity Engineer to lead the design ad enforcement of security practices across infrastructure, applications, and data. This role focuses on proactive threat prevention, detection, and response in a distributed environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-wide security architecture.
• Lead vulnerability assessments and penetration testing initiatives.
• Secure microservices, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Implement identify and access management (IAM) solution.
• Drive DevSecOps practices within CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years experience in cybersecurity or information security roles
• Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS
• Experience with SIEM and security monitoring tools.
• Strong understanding of encryption standards and protocols (TLS, HTTPS)
• Experience with network intrusion detection tools (eg. Nessus, OpenVAS)
• Experience of Linux and system hardening
• Experience in incident response and threat analysis.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps Practices.
• Knowledge of API security (OAuth2, JWT) especially with keycloak

Salary

₦600,000.00 - ₦800,000.00 per month
