For our Data, Processes & Innovation department in Stuttgart, we are looking for a (Senior) Data & AI Specialist (m/f/d) in full-time, starting as soon as possible.

You help unlock the value of data and AI by developing reliable and scalable solutions. Your work translates modern technology into measurable business impact: Through intelligent automation and data insights, you directly contribute to innovation and operational efficiency.

You support the transformation of our corporate workflows by implementing automations using traditional, generative, and agentic AI.

What You'll Work On

• Building and integrating data science, machine learning, and LLM-based solutions into corporate workflows
• Developing and operating data pipelines and AI-driven services using cloud-native technologies
• Consulting on data & AI solutions to support internal company competence building and drive cross-departmental collaboration, tooling, and change
• Contributing to streaming and batch data architectures (Data Lakes, Streaming Platforms, Event-Driven Systems)
• Supporting MLOps, including model versioning, monitoring, and lifecycle management - especially from a governance perspective
• Establishing "Data Quality by Design" and "AI Compliance by Design" principles
• Collaborating in interdisciplinary teams with Solution Architects, Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and Business to deliver MVPs and productive solutions in fast, iterative cycles
• Presenting progress and results to stakeholders

What You Bring

• Completed degree in a STEM field or Business Administration - with strong competence in the complementary discipline
• Several years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or AI Engineering, as well as strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Very good programming skills in Python and practical experience with cloud platforms and cloud-native development, ideally on AWS
• Solid hands-on experience with modern data platforms (Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, Streaming Systems) as well as containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker)
• Knowledge of MLOps practices, model deployment and monitoring, and familiarity with LLMs, generative AI, and agentic AI concepts, including RAG architectures and vector databases
• Strong team and communication skills, experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders in an international environment, and a structured, independent, and reliable work approach
• Experience in organizational change management and the ability to build structures and actively shape a data- and process-oriented culture
• Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
