We’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst with strong experience in BI, big data, and stakeholder-facing analytics to join a high-impact team.

Requirements

Must-have skills:

• Power BI & Looker (dashboarding, reporting)
• PySpark & Snowflake SQL (large-scale data processing)
• Strong communication (requirement gathering, stakeholder alignment)

Experience & Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in data analysis role
• 5+ years of experience in Python, PySpark & Snowflake SQL, and visualization tools like Power BI or Looker.
• A proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics. Conceptual thinking skills must be complemented by a strong quantitative orientation.
• Strong business judgment, leadership, and integrity. You should be a tenacious decision maker, able to bring a healthy, aggressive, yet responsible approach to business.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal and negotiation.
• Self-starter and adaptable. You’re energized and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid understanding of databases and proficient in writing PySpark or native SQL in systems like Hive, Snowflake and Presto.
• Strong skills in BI tools, Looker and Excel.
• Drives initiatives independently with minimal supervision.

Bonus Points:

• Skilled in using data mining techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning.
• Experienced in analyzing and debugging data with Spark/PySpark.
• Familiar with Airflow for workflow management.
• Able to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional, matrix environment.

Additional Information

• Remote role in Toronto, ON.
• Working hours are 8:30 AM - 5 PM EST.
• Must come in to the office at least once a month.

Note: Airflow, ML techniques, Spark debugging are nice to have.
