About the role

Our client is looking for a highly analytical and experienced Senior Data Analyst to join their innovative Business Intelligence team. This fully remote position is responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions. You will work closely with various departments to understand their data needs, develop sophisticated reports and dashboards, and perform in-depth analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical skills in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization, coupled with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and enhance business intelligence solutions, including reports, dashboards, and data visualizations. Analyze large datasets from various sources to identify key trends, patterns, and correlations. Translate business requirements into technical specifications for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. Perform in-depth data analysis to support strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and performance monitoring. Collaborate with stakeholders across departments (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Product, Finance) to understand their data needs and deliver relevant insights. Design and implement A/B tests and other experiments to measure the impact of new features or strategies. Identify data quality issues and work with IT and data engineering teams to implement solutions. Develop and automate recurring reports to provide stakeholders with timely performance updates. Utilize SQL extensively for data querying, manipulation, and database management. Create compelling data visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. Present complex findings and recommendations in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner to both technical and non-technical audiences. Stay current with industry best practices in data analysis, business intelligence, and data science. Mentor junior data analysts and contribute to the team's knowledge sharing. Contribute to the development of data governance policies and procedures. Proactively identify opportunities for data-driven improvements across the organization. Conduct ad-hoc analysis to answer critical business questions. Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance data analysis capabilities. This is a fully remote role, offering the flexibility to work from home. The successful candidate must be a self-disciplined, highly motivated individual with excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of thriving in a virtual team environment. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related discipline is required, along with a minimum of 6 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role. Proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools, and statistical analysis software is essential.
