Senior Data Analyst - Medical Analytics

Join our Medical Segment Business Analytics team! We are dedicated to offering deep insights into customer sales, revenue analytics, pricing strategies, and seamless access to critical information that drives strategic execution. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will work with a variety of data sources, including customer, marketing, sales, and third-party data.

We are looking for a talented analytics professional who is proficient in extracting, manipulating, and visualizing data. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing analytical leadership and crafting compelling, insight-driven data narratives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire analytics lifecycle to identify, analyze, and present insights that influence business decisions and uncover competitive opportunities.
• Manage analytic data platforms, focusing on the design and execution of reporting and business intelligence solutions.
• Apply advanced quantitative modeling to support data-driven decision-making.
• Leverage in-depth business process knowledge to deliver accurate, timely, and relevant insights that drive business strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics is preferred.
• Expertise in data visualization and an understanding of visual design principles (Tableau experience preferred).
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server preferred).
• Proficient with data exploration and mining tools (Alteryx, Microsoft Excel).
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and eagerness to learn new AI technologies.
• Skill in identifying business problems suitable for AI solutions and transforming processes into automated workflows.
• Strong critical thinking skills to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Excellent presentation abilities.
• Experience extracting insights from large datasets to assess performance.
• Capable of translating ambiguous requests into concrete deliverables.
• Experience transitioning legacy systems to modern cloud-based analytical platforms.
• Adaptable to fast-paced and changing environments.
• Experience working with complex data environments and diverse sources, including third-party data.

Responsibilities Include

• Familiarity with AWS/Google Cloud platforms.
• Agile implementation experience.
• Understanding of database architecture, data ingestion, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Experience with orchestration platforms and AI-assisted tools.
• Familiarity with SAP systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and/or R.
• Understanding of project management life cycles.
