Senior Data analyst (m/w/d)

Role

In this role, you shape a relaxed and mindful holiday experience from booking to the next travel planning with well-founded data analyses. You take responsibility for making complex processes transparent for guests and employees and for identifying optimization potential based on data. You analyze booking, usage, and process data, derive concrete recommendations for action from them, and thus contribute to intuitive, efficient processes. You work closely with various specialist departments, translate data into clear decision-making bases, and support the prioritization of improvement measures. With your analytical eye and structured way of working, you ensure that data leads to measurable added value and sustainable improvements in the guest experience.

Qualifications

• You have a completed degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Statistics, Data Science, or a comparable field.
• You have several years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a comparable analytical function.
• You are proficient in creating meaningful dashboards with Google Looker (Looker Studio) or a similar BI tool like Tableau or Power BI.
• Very good SQL skills and confident handling of data warehouse solutions (e.g. BigQuery) characterize you.
• Ideally, you have initial programming skills in Python or R and enjoy working solution-oriented with numbers and analyses.
• You communicate convincingly, can visualize complex issues understandably, and present confidently in German and English.

Responsibilities

• You develop, implement and maintain meaningful dashboards and reports with tools like PowerBI and Looker Studio.
• In this role, you conceptualize and realize data analyses to answer central business questions and support specialist departments.
• You extract and prepare data from various sources, including with SQL in BigQuery, in a structured manner.
• As a data analysis specialist, you conduct ad-hoc analyses and proactively identify trends, patterns, and optimization potential.
• You work closely with data engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders and present results understandably.
• In this role, you ensure data quality and consistency and promote a data-driven corporate culture through clear, action-oriented visualizations.
