Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources to identify trends, correlations, and actionable insights.
• Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support management decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders from different departments to understand business needs and develop data solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with company and industry standards.
• Develop predictive models and statistical analyses to forecast trends and measure performance metrics.
• Recommend process improvements and automation to enhance data workflows and reporting efficiency.
• Mentor junior analysts and support data literacy initiatives within the organization.
• Present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
• Proven experience with data analytics tools such as SQL, Python, R, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and data mining techniques.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization best practices.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and relational database management systems.
• Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related analytical role.
• Prior experience working in a remote or distributed team environment is an asset.
• Experience in managing or mentoring a team of analysts is preferred.

Working Hours

• Full-time remote position based in Canada.
• Flexible working hours with core collaboration between 9 AM – 5 PM EST.
• Occasional meetings may be required outside standard hours depending on project timelines.
