Senior Data Analytics Architect (Google Cloud Platform)

Job Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Data Analytics Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale data and analytics platforms on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). In this role, you will be responsible for architecting modern data ecosystems that support advanced analytics, reporting, and AI/ML use cases.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Warehousing, or Analytics
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer)
• Expertise in Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC)
• Advanced SQL skills and strong proficiency in Python
• Extensive experience in data modeling (dimensional and analytical)
• Experience supporting production data platforms and resolving performance issues
• Exposure to AI/ML data environments and analytics platforms
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in large enterprise or regulated environments
• Familiarity with BI tools and data visualization platforms
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and data pipeline monitoring
• Experience with data governance, metadata, and data quality tools

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead enterprise data and analytics architecture aligned with business goals
• Design and implement scalable data platforms on Google Cloud Platform, with a focus on BigQuery
• Architect batch and streaming data pipelines using Informatica IDMC, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Composer
• Develop logical and physical data models for analytics and AI use cases
• Optimize data warehouse performance, cost, and scalability
• Provide hands-on guidance in SQL, Python, and data pipeline development
• Support production systems, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, and SLA management
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions
• Establish data governance, quality, security, and compliance standards
