Senior Data Centre Planner

About

We are currently supporting several major hyperscale and mission-critical data centre projects across Switzerland and are looking to speak with experienced Senior Planners who have delivered large-scale DC projects from construction through commissioning.

This is not a generic construction planning role. We are specifically looking for planners with genuine data centre project experience within complex MEP-heavy environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage integrated project schedules using Primavera P6
• Drive critical path analysis and schedule recovery strategies
• Coordinate directly with CSA, MEP, commissioning and client-side stakeholders
• Lead lookaheads, progress reporting and schedule reviews across multiple contractors
• Monitor installation, testing, commissioning and handover activities
• Support delay analysis, change management and schedule mitigation
• Interface with senior delivery teams and project leadership on programme status
• Manage schedule governance across fast-track mission-critical environments

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Planner on live data centre construction projects
• Strong Primavera P6 capability is essential
• Experience across full project lifecycle from civils through commissioning/IST
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and commissioning sequences
• Experience working within hyperscale or large colocation environments
• Ability to operate in fast-track, high-pressure delivery environments
• Previous experience managing integrated master schedules across multiple contractors

Highly Desirable

• Experience within Switzerland or wider European data centre markets
• Knowledge of commissioning, turnover and integrated systems testing (IST)

We are specifically targeting senior-level data centre planners with mission-critical construction experience. Profiles from manufacturing production planning, logistics scheduling, or non-construction planning backgrounds will not be considered.
