• Piper Companies is looking for a Senior Data Cloud Engineer to join biotechnology pharmaceutical organization. This is a full‑time position offering hybrid flexibility out of Durham, NC.

Essential Duties of the Sr Data Cloud Engineer

• Ingest, integrate, and manage health care and patient data from multiple internal and external sources into Salesforce Data Cloud.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data models within Salesforce Data Cloud to support segmentation, analytics, and activation use cases.
• Translate business requirements into scalable data models, attributes, and metrics within Salesforce Data Cloud.
• Optimize data ingestion, transformation, and refresh processes to improve data quality, timeliness, and reliability.

Qualifications of the Sr Data Cloud Engineer

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or a related data platform role.
• Proficiency in SQL for data transformation and analysis, with experience using Python and/or ETL tools for data processing and automation.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce platform.
• Prior experience working with healthcare or pharmaceutical data.

Compensation for the Sr Data Cloud Engineer

• $110,000 – $130,000 (based on experience)
• 20% annual bonus
• 20% LTIP (long term incentive program)
• 2 days remote per week
