Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Lausanne for a Senior Data Consultant. In this position, you will be the technical leader to implement and manage projects end-to-end.

You will collaborate with clients to build data governance strategies, develop tailored solutions, and deliver training sessions on data-related tools. Additional responsibilities include creating data models, analyzing complex datasets, and mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

• End to end project management
• Technical leader
• Participating in BI, AI, or automation projects at client sites
• Delivering robust, customized solutions tailored to real-world use cases
• Preparing and demonstrating PoCs (proofs of concept) using partner tools
• Staying current with tech trends and maintaining expert-level certifications

Your Profile

• 10 years' experience as a data consultant
• Expertise in Snowflake or Databricks
• Certified (or equivalent experience) in project management
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Autonomous, pragmatic, and responsible
• Eager to learn and explore new technologies
• Adaptable and flexible in diverse client environments

The Non-negotiables

• A Master’s degree (minimum)
• Fluency in English (B2 or above)
• Fluency in French or German (B2 or above)
• Valid work authorization in Switzerland
• Swiss Romande residency — this is an on-site position
• SQL & Python knowledge and experience
• Knowledge of Machine Learning and AI tools

Nice to have

• Expertise with Tableau or PBI or Sigma
• CDMP (DAMA) Certified
