As a Senior Data Consultant, you are part of the Market Intelligence team, consisting of 14 driven analysts and market researchers. Together, you ensure that both senior management and colleagues on the shop floor can steer using data.

From dashboarding and strategic analyses to predictive models and simulations: the team continuously explores new possibilities to make decision-making smarter, faster, and better. AI plays an increasingly important role in this. Collaboration, knowledge sharing, and mutual development are central.

Role

As a Senior Data Consultant, you act at different levels:

Senior Data Consultant - Content Expert & Strategic Advisor:

• You translate data into strategic and commercial insights for Royal FloraHolland and its clients.
• You independently perform complex data and analyses and are responsible from start to finish: from question and analysis to advice and implementation.
• You combine strong analytical skills with solid consultancy skills and know how to translate complex issues into clear, action-oriented advice for various stakeholders.
• In this role, you move easily through the organization and know how to effectively connect different interests, content, and pace to achieve impactful results.
• In addition to your own project responsibility, you take a leading role within the team.
• You involve colleagues in projects, coach them in advisory skills, and actively contribute to the further professionalization of Market Intelligence in terms of consultancy skills.

Product Owner - Connecting Link Between Business and Team

• Additionally, you fulfill the role of Product Owner.
• You are responsible for the prioritization and execution of the MI portfolio, monitor the workload, and ensure that projects are actually realized.
• You act as a central point of contact for clients and as a link between Market Intelligence and the business.
• You set sharp priorities, make conscious choices under scarcity, and dare to say 'no' clearly.

In short: a senior consultant who delivers themselves, takes others along and makes them better, and thus visibly contributes to strong, data-driven decision-making within Royal FloraHolland.

Your Profile

You are analytically strong, curious, and know how to connect data with strategic issues. You feel comfortable in a consultative role and involve stakeholders and colleagues in insights and advice.

What You Bring

• Minimum HBO or WO work and thinking level, preferably in a quantitative direction (such as Economics, Econometrics, (Technical) Business Administration, or Data Science).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in data analysis, consultancy, market intelligence, or a comparable role.
• Experience in translating data into strategic and commercial insights for management and stakeholders.
• Strong communication and advisory skills, bringing focused consultancy skills.
• Experience in setting up and executing data-driven projects, from problem definition to implementation.
• Affinity with AI and modern analysis techniques.
• You move smoothly between organizational interests, client needs, and team capacity.
• A proactive, entrepreneurial attitude.
