Senior Data Engineer (AWS & PySpark)

Digis is looking for a Senior Data Engineer (AWS + PySpark) to join a long-term project— a mission-driven company in the hearing health industry. You’ll work closely with the VP of Technology to build scalable, production-grade data infrastructure and workflows on AWS. About the project

This South Africa-based company combines product design and tech innovation to deliver industry-leading hearing technology—from detection and diagnosis to intervention. Backed by $100M in investment, it maintains a strong product mindset and engineering culture.

Requirements • 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering • 3+ years of experience with AWS • 2+ years of Python (PySpark) • Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB) Why is this role exciting
