About
Our client is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join a high-impact Data & Analytics team supporting enterprise data platforms. This is a hands‑on role for someone who can own end‑to‑end data initiatives, from design through deployment, and build scalable data solutions that drive business insights and decision‑making.

Responsibilities (What You’ll Do)
- Partner with business stakeholders and data teams to gather and translate requirements into scalable solutions
- Design and implement robust data architectures and workflows
- Build and maintain ETL / ELT pipelines across multiple data sources
- Develop high‑performance, scalable data pipelines for analytics and reporting
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure data reliability and system stability
- Implement data governance, lineage, and observability best practices
- Support data migrations to modern cloud platforms (Snowflake / AWS / Databricks)
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a high‑performing team environment
Requirements
- 7+ years in Data Engineering
- Strong experience with:
- ETL tools: AWS Glue, EMR, Lambda
- Scheduling: Airflow, CRON, Step Functions
- Storage: AWS S3, SFTP
- CI / CD: Git, Jenkins, Terraform, CloudFormation
- Strong understanding of modern data architecture & pipeline design
- Experience building scalable, production‑grade data systems
- Solid experience with data observability and lineage
- Proven ability to own projects end‑to‑end
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
Nice to Have
- Experience in financial services / wealth / capital markets
- Experience with large‑scale data migration projects
