About the Role

As part of its development, our client is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to strengthen its Product & Engineering team. You will be involved in the design, optimization, and scalability of large-scale data pipelines. You will work at the heart of a modern AWS cloud architecture and actively participate in structuring technical choices. This position is for a senior profile wishing to have a real technical and strategic impact on high business value data products.

Main Missions and Responsibilities

• Design and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines (PySpark, ETL)
• Optimize the data architecture on AWS (S3, Glue, EMR, Lambda, Redshift)
• Model and optimize NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
• Implement Infrastructure as Code via Terraform
• Contribute to deployment automation (CI/CD)
• Ensure data quality and governance
• Collaborate closely with Product & Business teams
• Document flows and promote good data practices

FORMATION & EXPERIENCE

• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering
• Strong expertise in AWS & PySpark
• Significant experience with Terraform

Technical Skills (Must have)

• PySpark (large-scale processing)
• AWS (S3, Glue, EMR, Lambda, Redshift)
• MongoDB (modeling & optimization)
• Advanced SQL
• Data Warehousing & ETL
• Git
• Data governance & data quality

Nice to have

• CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Integration of AI/ML / LLM models
• BI Tools (Power BI, Tableau)
• Experience in Agile environments
