We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to play a crucial role in developing and optimizing our cardiovascular diagnostic products for maternal health. In this position, you will work closely with hardware engineers, software developers, and clinical experts to ensure our products meet stringent regulatory standards and deliver exceptional performance.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
- Implement automated processes for data ingestion, validation, traceability, and quality monitoring.
- Develop and maintain reusable data libraries, transformation logic, and governance frameworks.
- Participate in security audits, compliance reviews, and certification efforts.
- Operationalize AI pipelines, including model deployment, monitoring, drift handling, versioning, and automatic retraining.
- Integrate explainable AI tools into the pipeline to ensure traceability and compliance.
- Develop Python-based analysis scripts, reusable data modules, and feature generation logic.
- Support visualization workflows with tools like Tableau, Looker, Grafana, or Streamlit.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, AI, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- More than 5 years of experience building secure, compliant cloud-based data ecosystems for regulated data domains.
- Experience building secure cloud-based data systems with AWS, Azure, or GCP is essential.
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL are required.
- Advanced experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect.
- Advanced experience with data frameworks such as Spark, dbt, or Kafka.
- Advanced experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Experience in managing encryption standards and secure authentication is advantageous.
- Familiarity with containers, service mesh, and runtime security checks.
- Ability to translate compliance frameworks into technical implementations.
- Proven cross-functional communication skills.
- A documentation-driven engineering mindset is also important.

Preferred Qualifications
