Senior Data Engineer (m/w/d)

About the Role

For our client in a regulated corporate environment, we are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer (m/f/d) to support the expansion and further development of a modern cloud-based data platform.

In this role, you will work in a complex enterprise environment on the development of high-performance data integration and transformation solutions and contribute your technical expertise to an international, agile (SAFe) team.

Your Responsibilities

• Development and optimization of modern data pipelines in a cloud-based data platform
• Implementation of ELT/ETL processes for integrating various data sources
• Data modeling and performance optimization in Snowflake
• Development of transformation logic with dbt
• Creation of complex SQL queries and data models
• Participation in the DevOps environment with Git / CI/CD / Python
• Collaboration in agile, cross-functional teams

Your Profile

• Several years of experience as a Data Engineer in complex corporate environments
• In-depth practical experience with Snowflake (data modeling, security, data sharing)
• Sound experience with dbt in productive environments
• Very good SQL skills and experience with Python
• Experience with Git / CI/CD / DevOps
• Ideally, experience in the insurance or financial sector

• English: very good (C1+)
