Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake / Python / Teradata)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake, Python, ETL, and SQL development. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Teradata and RDBMS systems, hands-on development experience, and proven exposure to eCommerce, Retail, or CPG domains. This role requires strong analytical thinking, effective communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines using Snowflake and Python
• Perform complex SQL development and performance tuning across large datasets
• Work extensively with RDBMS systems, especially Teradata
• Develop and maintain database objects using PL/SQL and T-SQL
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance across platforms
• Identify opportunities to apply new technologies and improve existing data solutions

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in:
  • Snowflake
  • Python for data processing
  • ETL and SQL development
• Strong expertise in Teradata and RDBMS concepts
• Hands-on experience with PL/SQL and T-SQL
• Solid understanding of database design, optimization, and performance tuning
• Experience working in Agile methodology
• Domain experience in eCommerce, Retail, or CPG
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Desirable Skills:

• Exposure to modern data architectures and cloud-based data platforms
• Ability to quickly adapt and apply new data technologies
• Prior experience working with large-scale enterprise data environments
