Senior Data Engineer / Software Architect

Your Responsibilities

• You will significantly shape the development and architecture of a data warehouse solution for a client in the healthcare sector.
• You will design and implement ETL processes, data preparations, and analyses for large datasets with high demands on stability, efficiency, and maintainability, as well as the highest demands on data quality.
• You will answer complex questions in close collaboration with the business through specific data analyses.
• With stable and performant data preparation, you ensure that data is available on time.

Your Profile

• You have a degree in computer science (FH, Uni, ETH) or comparable professional experience and more than four years of experience as a database developer.
• You are a Data Engineer with passion; broad knowledge and solid engineering of high-quality database solutions are a matter of course for you.
• It is important to you to develop each other within the team – you feel comfortable in an interdisciplinary environment.
• You have a quick grasp, good analytical skills, and work in a focused and precise manner.
• You have experience in the setup, operation, administration, and automation of data warehouses based on MS SQL Server technologies.
• Knowledge of other database systems such as MariaDB is a plus.
• Knowledge of other programming languages such as Java, R, Python, or BI software such as QlikSense is advantageous.
• Experience in the healthcare sector is not a prerequisite but adds an extra sparkle to your profile.
