Rate: $80.00 to $100.00/hr. W2

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of a data mart sourced from CRM systems to improve Power BI functionalities.
• Define and implement star schemas and relational database structures to enhance data accessibility and reporting.
• Develop and construct ETL processes and data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric and associated technologies.
• Establish and uphold data architecture and engineering best practices to guarantee high‑quality results.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Engage in hands‑on coding while mentoring team members on modern data practices.
• Set the groundwork for an enterprise data warehouse and outline a roadmap for upcoming data initiatives.

Experience Requirements

• Extensive expertise with Microsoft data technologies, particularly Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse.
• At least 10 years of experience in designing star schemas and relational data models.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in developing and managing ETL processes and production data pipelines.
• Experience in integrating datasets for Power BI and utilizing data modeling methods for visualization.
• Demonstrated ability to independently oversee projects from start to finish.
• Exceptional communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration with both business and technical teams.
• Knowledge of data lake and warehouse principles, including SQL, Delta Lake, and Parquet.
• Experience with Databricks is desirable.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and sales data structures is a plus.
• Understanding of financial data modeling and knowledge of securities, instruments, and portfolios is advantageous.
• Ability to align working hours with East Coast business hours while working remotely.
