As a Senior Data Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in designing and constructing vital data infrastructures and systems that facilitate effective processing and analysis of data. You will oversee the development and implementation of data pipelines, integration, and transformation solutions.

Progressing as a strategic advisor, you will leverage your influence, expertise, and professional network to deliver exceptional results. You will inspire and coach team members while collaboratively tackling complex challenges. Your judgment will guide you in determining when to act and when to escalate issues. You will be expected to think critically, ask insightful questions, and articulate how various components interrelate. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement comprehensive data architecture strategies.
  • Lead large-scale data projects while innovating established processes.
  • Ensure operational excellence and maintain effective client engagements.
  • Develop and document data models and flow diagrams.
  • Ensure adherence to data governance and security protocols.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate data requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Drive project success through strategic guidance and problem-solving tactics.
  • Promote a diverse and inclusive environment within the team.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in data engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in leading Cloud Platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure).
  • Expertise in designing and implementing data architecture strategies.
  • Experience in developing and documenting data models and diagrams.
  • Knowledge of data governance and security compliance.
  • Ability to evaluate and suggest innovative data technologies and tools.
  • Experience leading data strategy initiatives and providing thought leadership.
  • Expertise in developing best practices within Data Engineering and Governance.
  • Experience architecting and implementing cloud-based solutions that adhere to industry standards.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $124,000 to $280,000. Actual compensation will depend on individual skills, experience, qualifications, location, and relevant employment laws. All new hires are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. PwC offers an extensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401k, holiday pay, vacation, and various forms of leave.
