Data Integration Specialist

About

In this role you will design and maintain data integration solutions to support investment operations such as trade flows, accounting, and reporting. You will work with cross-functional teams to refine user stories and deliver scalable data pipelines that feed Simcorp Dimension and other platforms. You drive data quality through ETL, SQL, and modern CI/CD practices while delivering insightful reporting. You will engage in agile ceremonies, showcase value to stakeholders, and help shape the data warehousing and reporting ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and refine user stories with cross-functional teams using Jira design
• Develop and implement robust data integration solutions with a modern tech stack
• Configure data workflows to ensure accurate data flow across systems
• Present functional solutions during sprint showcases and communicate business value
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket/GitHub, Bamboo) for continuous delivery
• Develop SQL views, stored procedures, and functions for efficient data handling
• Implement ETL processes using Python (Pandas/NumPy) and perform unit tests
• Create data reporting visualizations (Power BI or Tableau) to meet business insights
• Ensure adherence to Data Warehousing practices, including Dimensional Modeling (Kimball)
• Integrate financial data into investment systems like Simcorp Dimension
• Act as an active contributor in an Agile scrum team

Qualifications

• Senior level with proven experience in data integration within finance
• Proficiency in Python (Pandas/NumPy), SQL, and ETL
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau for data visualization
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Bitbucket/GitHub, Bamboo)
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with Jira and Agile/Scrum practices
• Knowledge of Dimensional Modeling (Kimball) and data warehousing concepts
• Experience integrating data with Simcorp Dimension or similar investment platforms
• Ability to present business value and outcomes to stakeholders
