To ensure our marketing, analytics, and AI systems operate on a consistent and reliable data basis, we continuously develop our central Data Platform. This is exactly where you come in:

As a Senior Data Platform Engineer – Data Products & AI (Marketing), you will shape the foundation for data-driven decisions in the marketing of the future. Your goal: away from fragmented data, manual evaluations, and different KPI definitions – towards clearly structured, standardized, and AI-usable Data Products. Together with Analytics, Controlling, and Tech teams, you will create a platform on which customer journeys can be consistently modeled across systems and data can be directly used for dashboards, APIs, and AI applications.

What to expect:

• You will develop and standardize central data models for marketing, customer journey, and behavioral data, thereby creating a consistent foundation for analytics and AI.
• You will define KPI logics and build a clear Semantic Layer so that marketing, controlling, and AI systems work on the same data basis.
• You will develop scalable Data Products with stable interfaces that can be directly used for dashboards, APIs, and AI applications.
• You will structure data so that it can be efficiently used by modern AI systems and AI Coding Assistants.
• You will work closely with our platform teams for streaming, pipelines, and governance and further develop sustainable, high-quality data structures based on them.

What you bring:

• Several years of experience in building Data Platforms, Data Products, or complex data models.
• Very good understanding of Data Modeling (e.g., Star Schema, DBT, hybrid approaches) as well as KPI and Semantic Layer concepts.
• Very good SQL and Python skills as well as experience with complex data landscapes.
• Experience with Data Governance, Metadata Management, and Data Quality.
• Routine in using AI Coding Assistants (e.g., Claude Code) and a high standard for clean software engineering, architecture, and maintainability.
• We meet on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in the office to exchange ideas and strengthen our personal team spirit – it would be great if you're keen to spend these days with us on-site.
