Responsibilities

• Contribute to the formulation and dissemination of data strategy and roadmaps within the technology organization to align with project portfolios and business objectives.
• Lead the establishment and communication of enterprise standards for data domains and solutions, facilitating seamless integration and operational efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance to ensure coherence among ongoing projects, working closely with 84.51.
• Drive digital innovation by leveraging modern technologies to enhance and evolve current core data assets across SQL, NoSQL, and Cloud‑based platforms.
• Create comprehensive migration plans to bridge the gaps from current to future data environments.
• Present cost/benefit analyses to leadership to inform architectural decisions.
• Evaluate the technology landscape to identify critical deficiencies and propose improvement solutions.
• Mentor and develop team members in data principles, best practices, and methodologies.
• Encourage the reuse of data assets and manage the data catalog for reference purposes.
• Draft and review architectural diagrams, interface specifications, and design documentation.
• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in defining and implementing evolutionary data solutions and related technologies.
• 7+ years of proven experience in leading the development of complex data solutions delivered to customers.
• 7+ years of successful track record in designing and implementing large‑scale operational or analytical data systems.
• 7+ years of hands‑on experience in data development, including comprehensive end‑to‑end design patterns.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Expertise in at least two of the following fields: data warehousing, data management, analytics development, data science, APIs, data integration, cloud computing, server and storage solutions, or database management.
• Strong awareness of industry trends and competition.
• Basic understanding of network and data security architecture.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience developing solutions using elastic architectures, preferably Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with data science solutions or platforms.
• Experience in operational data science, machine learning, or AI solutions.
• Experience with various SQL, NoSQL, and Big Data Platforms.
• Hands‑on expertise with Databricks beyond basic usage, including performance tuning and cluster management.
• Past involvement in large‑scale data platform migrations.
• Solid background in data quality frameworks, reconciliation, and anomaly detection.
